This amazing new formula came about when I remembered a lifesaving salve my husband had made a few years before. He went out and picked an entire half-gallon jar full of yarrow, made an olive oil infusion and melted it down with beeswax. This salve got me through a brutal summer full of mosquito bites, tick bites, chigger bites and the occassional poison ivy. 
 
I don't know about you guys, but I'm one of those people who is a mosquito MAGNET.  I must taste amazing to those bloodsuckers; so much that I can be sitting on my own sofa and get eaten alive if the front door is open for more than 5 seconds. I can't go outside in the summer without bathing myself in insect repellant!
 
I thought recently of the amazing yarrow salve that my husband made and decided that I wanted to share the secret with all of my customers, except I wanted to make it even BETTER! I researched and gathered up a small handful of wild herbs and flowers, each with their own amazing properties, to infuse my olive oil and coconut oil with.
 
I also added a generous helping of shea butter to further promote healthy skin, along with lavender, peppermint, rosemary and tea tree essential oils known for their dozens of amazing abilities.
